A crack team of selectors, vocalists and MCs, Trojan Sound System have been spinning their own unique vibrations around the world for almost a decade now. Recently releasing the 'Africa - Remixes EP' the collective have opened 2013 with a bang, playing sets across the globe.
Containing Toddla T, JFB and Darkstarr Diskotek re-dubs, 'Africa - The Remixes' collects the old with the new, the traditional with the daringly modern. Coinciding with full live and Dex N FX shows across Europe, Trojan Sound System are spreading the reggae gospel in fine style.
As a special Friday treat, ClashMusic are able to bring you an exclusive mix from the collective. Trojan Sound System have pieced together 'Deep Culture Roots' - a mix which does exactly as it says on the tin.
Expect soulful vocals, sweeping studio effects, rapid fire toasting and plenty of cavernous bass frequencies.
