There are at least nine bands who use or have used the name Sarcasm. 1) Death Metal band from Uppsala, Sweden, formed in 1990, split up in 1994 and reformed in 2015. They released 6 demos - Fleshwaste May '92, In Hate… Nov. '92, Soul Enchantment Dec. '92, Dark April '93, Demo 93 June 93, A Touch Of The Burning Red Sunset Feb '94. A compilation of their 2nd, 4th, and 6th demos was released, also called A Touch Of The Burning Red Sunset on Breath of Night Records, 1998. A limited 7" vinyl picture disc containing 2 demo tracks, Scattered Ashes, was released on Danza Ipnotica Records, 2000. A 31-track triple-LP limited compilation Never After - The Complete Recordings with every track the band recorded, including 3 unreleased demos and 8 unreleased tracks intended for a '94 debut album "Burial Dimensions" was released on To The Death records, 2011. The die hard edition includes 5 rehearsal tracks on a bonus 7" vinyl & is limited to 100 copies. American label Dark Descent Records plans to release a double CD edition of Never After, marketed as Burial Dimensions in March 2015. Also, the 8 tracks consisting of the unreleased '94 album Burial Dimensions will be released as a stand alone vinyl. Since their reformation, they have released new full-lengths Within the Sphere of Ethereal Minds in 2017 and Esoteric Tales of the Unserene in 2019. 2) A Slovenian speed metal/thrash band formed in 1987 and one of the first Slovenian metal bands to achieve success. Their debut album Crematory was self-released on cassette tape in '89 (re-released and remastered on CD with their second album in 2002, on vinyl in 2007, & on stand-alone CD in 2013). They split up in 1994 & reformed in '98. They have released five albums and one split since reforming: Igra Narave (2002), Divja kri (2003), Revolt (2006), Something to Believe In (2009), & Thrash (2014). 3) Crusty grinding hardcore band from Leicester, UK. Formed in the mid 1980s and releasing a handful of 7"s, demos and splits in the early-mid 1990s. Featuring Mark of ENT/The Wankys.

5)This four-piece band from Long Island, NY has moved to the forefront in a scene that has been labeled by many as the next Seatle. SARCASM has strong hooks, which are matched by an intensity all of their own. The use of melodic vocals and three part harmonies, layered over driving rhythms and unique guitar lines have driven their success. They've shared the stage with bands like Story Of The Year, Letter Kills, Brand New, Taking Back Sunday, Bayside, and more!
