Michael Anklin has been played on NTS shows including Roadkill Ikebana, with Zinnen first played on 29 August 2023.

Michael Anklin is a drummer, electronic musician and producer living in Switzerland.

To expand his sound spectrum, he uses field recordings, analog synthesizer, tape machines, as well as self-constructed instruments and sound objects. His sound is characterized by prepared acoustic drums, various objects and sound manipulations.

Anklin collaborates with artists such as Dim Grimm, Kilchhofer, Janiv Oron, Odd Beholder, Julian Nicosia, Thomas Giger and Wordcolour. He is one of the founding members of the open structured band «UFO» (w/ Lukas Huber and Robert Torche) and the science-fiction ritual band «Liebeslied» (w/ Jan Sutter and Nico van Wersch). He produces music for theater, dance and sound installations.

Together with Janiv Oron he founded the label Sais Records.
