Asheni has been played on NTS shows including Black Impulse, with Fingertips first played on 21 October 2023.

Asheni's real name is Angela Heldmann. When she was a little baby her parents decided to move from Germany to a small Spanish island in the mediterranian, Ibiza. Hers music always needs to have at least some retro elementand combined with beautiful instruments like the piano, trumpet, sax, violin and accordeon, with some new electronical elements. She's also the female singer on many YORK tracks. Asheni joined the Offshore Music publishing company in 2006. And in 2008 she will release her new album "Butterfly Survival Kit"
