Young Adults are a Boston/Northampton-based post-punk/noisepop trio drawing from the gamut of underground sounds from the 80s and 90s to create something abrasive, melodic, and impactful. They released a self-titled Demo in early 2010 to much acclaim and followed up swiftly with 'Black Hole' later that year. After the departure of original bassist Demitri Swan in '11, they enlisted their childhood friend Danny O'Neill, who previously played in the beloved Boston post-punk band Protokoll.
'Born in '91' was released February 14th 2013 and consists mostly of songs written with the new lineup in 2012. The new EP delves more into the meaning of the band's namesake: the tension between adolescence and adulthood and all that it entails.
