Edgars Rubenis has been played on NTS shows including OnoTesla, with Boundun Sea (pt 1&2) first played on 8 January 2024.

Edgars Rubenis is a Latvian a composer, guitarist and one half of the creative core in the band Mona de Bo. He has composed music for theater and dance performances, installations and cinema. Starting with his solo record Mythoscope (Skaņu Mežs Recordings, 2014) Rubenis turned towards using distinctly restrictive methods in the process of composition.

Combining the narrowing down of the means of expression with the use of extended duration, Rubenis creates his works as points of connection between the listener and the music - moments, where the convergence of listeners perception and musical objects generate certain conceptions regarding the nature of the parties involved.
