Sounds for new endings to old beginnings and new beginnings to old endings. The kind you hope feel more like becoming than undoing. For the bittersweetness of returning to what was never fully left, in a familiar, glowing ache. A soft space that takes in the slowness of healing, while what remains finds its form.

The Psychedelic Rock band, the Apple Pie Motherhood Band was formed in Boston in 1964. Their original name was "C.C. and the Chasers". Originally members: guitarists Ted Demos and Joe Castagno, bassist Richard Barnaby, keyboardist Jef Labes and drummer Jack Bruno, all of them did the vocals. In 1965 they relocated to New York City, and played under the name "Sacred Mushroom". After their name, Sacred Mushroom was considered too drug-oriented by Atlantic Records, they sarcasticly changed their name to Apple Pie Motherhood Band, and their self-titled debut LP was released in 1968. The band relocated to Vermont to record the follow-up album with the addition of lead vocalist Bruce Paine, guitarist Michael Sofraine and harmonica player Adam Myers. They achieved limited success for opening for Jefferson Airplane, and the Butterfield Blues Band, however in 1970 the Apple Pie Motherhood Band split up. Jef Labes played with Van Morrison and Bonnie Raitt, Jack Bruno played with Tina Turner, and Bruce Paine went to form Steamhammer.
