Bergendy has been played on NTS in shows including ALBA Radio w/ Lorenzo Daniels & Bryce Byrd, featured first on 4 March 2024. Songs played include Ez Vagyok Én, S Ez Vagy Nekem (That's What I Am And That's What You Are For Me - Ты Для меня) and Ismeretlen Ember.

One of the most important Hungarian bands defining the early era alongside with Illés, Omega and such, formed in the late 50es. First they played jazz, but in 1964 they crossed over into beat music. They became the most influential session and support band in the country, helping many talents starting their career. Bergendy is most famous for the period when Demjén Ferenc was their lead singer in the 70es. Their sound is quite distinct because of the big band roots and instrumentation.
