Paul Mottram has been played on NTS shows including SIGOURNEY, with Reverie first played on 14 March 2024.

Paul is an experienced classical and jazz composer and has worked extensively in film and television. His compositional credits include music for the BBC2 comedy series People Like Us and BBC Radio 4 comedy/dramas In the Red, Babblewick Hall, In the Balance, House of the Spirit Levels and Rigor Mortis. His music has also featured in Doctor Who (BBC1), The Lenny Henry Show (BBC1), Horizon: Parallel Universes (BBC2), Flying Through Time (ITV), Ray Mears Bushcraft (BBC2), Bremner, Bird and Fortune (C4), QI (BBC2) and the series Britain’s Finest (C5). He has also written music for numerous television commercials including those for Rover, Pizza Hut, Hitachi, Daihatsu, JVC, Faberge, Sure and Greene King.

Orchestration credits range from feature films Chaplin, Rain Man, Shirley Valentine, Castaway and High Spirits to BBC drama Born To Run and the RSC production of Bartholomew Fair. He has also been heavily involved in the restoration and re-recording of William Walton and Malcolm Arnold’s ‘lost’ film scores of the ’40s and ’50s.
