Os Cariocas has been played on NTS in shows including The Recording Angel w/ The Avalanches, featured first on 12 June 2024. Songs played include O Amor Em Paz.

Founded in 1942 by Ismael Netto, Os Cariocas is known for their elaborate arrangements of four or five voices. After their 1957 recording, "Chega de Saudade", they became the most representative vocal group of Bossa Nova.
