Kirsten Ketsjer started as a sound and poetry project called "Den Epileptiske Tennisspiller" (The Epileptic Tennis Player), but has during the last couple of years worked with experimental music in a more rock-oriented way, which can be heard on this album.
Jump down from the bridge and into the crackled waves where delightful guitar riffs, sheep and twittering birds rise to the surface from the deep wizard drones of the Norwegian forests. The album "ffffoo k tssch" covers a wide field from simple acoustic songs to longer compositions in which summer rock, free improvisation, noise, childrens’ song and keyboard confusion succeed eachother in a surprising, sometimes cheeky way.
Kirsten Ketsjer the Rock Band consists of singer and drummer Anja Jacobsen and guitarists Andreas Führer and Anders Lauge Meldgaard.
The cover to "ffffoo k tssch" is hand made, printed and designed in collaboration with Zven Smittekilde.
Kirsten Ketsjer the Rock Band is a part of the experimental music association yoyooyoy which also consists of Fjernsyn Fjernsyn, Johns Lunds, Frisk Frugt, Yoke og Yohs, Keto Tze, Kalle Del Hey, Slütspürt and others.
"Ffffoo k tsscch" is the second album from Kirsten Ketsjer the rock band. The debut "Jeg skal snart ind" from 2005 is published by Loco Music and Ninth World Music, WME.
