Larramie Cortez "Doc" Shaw (born April 24, 1992 in Atlanta, Georgia, United States) is an American actor, singer and rapper. He is perhaps best known for his three roles as Malik Payne in Tyler Perry's House of Payne, for which he won a Young Artist Award in 2009 for best supporting performance in a TV series, Marcus Little from The Suite Life on Deck and his role as Boomer Duke in the Disney XD show Pair of Kings. Shaw commenced his acting career by appearing in the film Nobody Loves Me written by Cassandra A. Henderson and produced by Yardi Entertainment, Inc. The film explored teenage suicide in the African American community as well as bullying and self-esteem. Shaw will also appear in the Tavaris Bailey Production Dramatic Dreams. As of September 12, 2010 Tavaris Bailey Production has pushed back on the production of Dramatic Dreams this movie will not be released. Shaw began starring in television commercials before appearing in the show House of Payne. He was also a presenter at the 39th annual NAACP Image Awards ceremony. He joined the cast of Disney Channel sitcom The Suite Life on Deck for the show's second season which began airing on August 7, 2009. He played Marcus Little, a former Grammy Award winner whose career ended after his record label dumped him. The first time the characters of the Suite Life on Deck series met Marcus, they thought he was in the Witness Protection Program. On Friday August 20th, 2010 Doc Shaw appeared in his last episode of "The Suite Life on Deck" to work on his new show "Pair of Kings." He also made his singing and rapping debut on song Top of the World featuring his Pair of Kings co-star Mitchel Musso from Hannah Montana. The song was featured on Radio Disney on September 10.
