In 1996 Wolfgang Hagedorn (Hagedorn) and Michael Lückner (Digital Jockey) were creating their tunes with Notebooks only. Since then they made electronic music with an asian touch and performed as DJs in Cologne, Germany.
Their first album "Computerjockeys" was released in 1999, followed by two diffrent vinyl-versions. For MTV they composed the german themes of the animes "Golden Boy" and "Lupin III". With the support of Ayako Akashiba's voice the next and last album "Plankton" gained more asian influence. After that both worked on diffrent projects (e.g. Guitar) and Computerjockeys went on hiatus. "One day we'll definitively work together again, but it will sound diffrently then", Lückner said.
