An instrumental hip hop producer from Texas http://totalart.bandcamp.com/
A Detroit punk band active in the 70s Formed at Detroit in 1976 by Skid Marx (bass, vocals) and his wife Rockee Re Marx (vocals), with Gaetano and Thomas St. Thomas on guitars and Steve Sortor (from Mutants) on drums. They had a sound that leaned more towards hard rock and inspired by early proto-punk bands MC5 and The Stooges. Their first release was the Don't Push Me b/w De-generator 7" in 1978 on the label Real Records and played several gigs opening for a host of national acts including Patti Smith, Devo, Johnny Thunders & the Heartbreakers and Robin Lane & the Chartbusters at many of the well-know clubs of the era including Max's Kansas City, Hurrah and Danceteria in New York City, the Rat and the Space in Boston and the Pirate's Cove in Cleveland. In 1980 Flirt released their second recording, a 10 inch Ep titled Faster Than You. On March 1, 2007 Sins Of Your Fathers Presents was released on label Snaps with audio session and multimedia section with complete history of the band, an interview, photo gallery and a live DVD with 3 new live tracks recorded in a reunion gig.
Slovenian pop band, active in 1997-2003. The reunited band performs under the new name Flirrt.
Formerly known as Neue Deutsche Wahrheit. The queer pop duo FLIRT is stirring up the German pop landscape with platform boots and lip gloss. Picture this: Lady Gaga meets the Scissor Sisters at a lavish pool party and everyone is kissing. FLIRT - that's Baby Spice Vivi and Sporty Spice Paul - invite you to a musical rendezvous with a mixture of sexy dance beats and funky guitars, catchy melodies and cheeky rap parts. About their lyrics, the two say: “We dream of a queer paradise beyond wage labor and everyday stress. That's just Planet FLIRT for us." And this dream world can also be found in their music videos, where they enjoy themselves as fairies at the cake buffet, sometimes as leather babes gliding through a neon landscape on scooters. Their concerts stand for unforgettable high energy performances and promise sweaty club nights. Anyone who loves pop divas from the 90s and 2000s and has a heart for flirty lyrics will find a new favorite band in FLIRT.
