Red Star has been played on NTS shows including Antinote w/ Zaltan, with Aphrodisiac (Red Star Remix) first played on 3 October 2024.

Red Star currently refers to more than one artist:

1) A polish punk band from Rzeszów, active in early eighties, whose members later founded new wave outfit One Million Bulgarians.

2) An indie rock band from England.

3) A project of Danny Briottet, founder member of Renegade Soundwave. The music of Red Star can be described as a fusion of Dub and UK Garage. In 2002 and 2003 Red Star released 3 singles: Pretender, West London and Stranger Fruit, each featuring MC Spee on vocals.

4) An alternative rock / screamo band from Reston, VA that was active in the early 2000s.
