Highway went under the name HighwayKhi until changing it just to Highway in 2019. His name is supposedly inspired off of a childhood nickname of his. Highway grew up in South Seattle, along with fellow rapper JUICETHEGOD who was killed on April 1st, 2018.

Highway is most known for his recent success in rapping but is also known for his production on tracks for Chief Keef, Duwap Kaine, and Isaacjacuzzi.
