1) DoublePlusGood is a Portland Oregon based duo. With a lifelong love of pop structures, and a fascination with modern digitalia, the duo has forged a style of synth-pop remembered equally for its melodic content, as its synthetic inclinations. With influences ranging everywhere from the Beach Boys to New Order, DoublePlusGood manage to fuse their own brand of synth pop, which sounds classic and catchy without sounding canned or referential.

2) Doubleplusgood was a spin-off project from Book Of Love that consisted of band member Ted Ottaviano and his friend, Basil Lucas. They released two singles: "Conga Te'" (released in 1993) and "The Winding Song" (in 1996). Both were released on Sire/Warner Bros. Records. They also had 2 other songs, "Theme From Doubleplusgood" and "Sunny Day", included on the Sire/Warner Bros. New Faces compilation from 1993, along with "Conga Te".
