Foxgluv

Foxgluv has been played on NTS in shows including Soup To Nuts w/ Anu, featured first on 19 November 2024. Songs played include Triple Cherry.

San Francisco's minimal electro-funk duo FOXGLUV are Lux D'Coda on words & vocals and guitarist DJ Kin on production duties. Various other members, including 'renowned ambient techno innovator' (All Music Guide) Jonah Sharp (of Spacetime Continuum fame), are drafted in as required.

The live incarnation of the band initially built a reputation Stateside with their genre-defying live shows at many American festivals including the world famous BURNING MAN in the Nevada Desert. This lead to the recording of their FLAME AND FORTUNE album for major label WEA. Changes at the label however, eventually meant the album was free to be released by Cyberset in the States.

Cult UK label Freshly Squeezed Music also stepped in, picking up two of the best tracks from the album (and adding a Jonah Sharp remix) for X 3 EP (2006) release in Europe.

Foxgluv's sound suggests everything from George Clinton's Mothership Connection to 'a trip-hop Deee-lite' (San Francisco Chronicle)…
