The Megamen has been played on NTS shows including DARK ENTRIES w/ Josh Cheon, with Designed For Living first played on 12 December 2024.

New Romantic 80s electronica band from Australia ( Brisbane ) featuring the keys and musical composition of Mark Love, and the vocals / lyrics/ styling of Clyde Behm. Strongly influenced by Bowie, Grace Jones, Japan, Ultravox, Split Enz, David Sylvian and Gary Numan…

They had a strong cult following and influenced nightclub fashions at that time. Megamen played with the Reels, Deckchairs Overboard and Real Life - all national headliners of the time.

Line-up: Clyde Behm (lead vocals, lyrics, styling,) Mark Love (synths, piano, soundscaping and musical composition) Lance Leopard ( percussion, drums, visage ) ” Roland Jupiter-8”, Steinway Grand and Buchla synths mostly used.
