Independence Ave. Orchestra has been played on NTS shows including The Low Bias Show , with Welfare first played on 27 January 2015.

Independence Ave. Orchestra is an alias of Brooklyn-based producer/DJ Brian Leeds, best known as Huerco S. and Royal Crown of Sweden. Named after the notorious street in his hometown of Kansas City, Leeds used this moniker for a 2014 contribution ("Welfare") to a compilation (PRB007) on Anthony Naples's Proibito label, as well as for a remix of "Sunday Yellow" by Royer in the same year.
