On 20 October 2017, Airhead was a guest on Solid Steel. Airhead has been played on NTS over 80 times, featured on 81 episodes and was first played on 27 February 2012.

London producer Rob McAndrews, who goes by the name Airhead, creates spacious, abstract and dubstep-adjacent compositions. He's released music on a host of labels including R&S, Brainmath, Different Circles, Hemlock Recordings and James Blake's 1-800 Dinosaur. As friends since childhood, Airhead's collaborative relationship for warping sounds with Blake goes way back; with the pair's first joint public offering, 'Pembroke', dating back to 2010. McAndrews is a staple of Blake's live shows and has toured the world as hi guitarist.
