Albert Malawi, born Albert Russell Johnson, st. Andrew, Jamaica came to Alpha Boys School in 1966. He attended the school alongside Fish Clarke (Johnny Clarke's brother), Leroy Smart & Lennie Hibbert and he learned to play drums there.
