The Chitinous Ensemble has been played on NTS shows including Auntie-ism w/ SHABAZZ, with Dance first played on 28 January 2025.

Led by Paul Buckmaster, the Chitinous Ensemble played a mixture of jazz-fusion and 20th century avant-garde classical music. Only recording one album and being released in a small quantity in 1971 on the British Deram label (a Decca company), the Chitinous Ensemble's self-titled album has attained near legendary status amongst British jazz collectors.
