At least two acts have recorded under the name "Lost Horizon": 1) A metal band from Gothenburg, Sweden. 2) A rock group from Fairbanks, AK.

1) Lost Horizon is a power metal / progressive metal band from Gothenburg, Sweden. They went under the name 2ighlander from 1990 until 1994 (with Joacim Cans on vocals and other future HammerFall members) before the band was put on hold. Reformed in the late nineties, briefly under the same name, before changing it to Lost Horizon. The band is Swedish but Wojtek Lisicki is from Poland. Daniel Heiman and Fredrik Olsson departed from Lost Horizon in 2005, and although the band released three short instrumental teaser clips: "Wizard", "Spirit", and "Fire" in 2009 and the band still sells merchandise, no other new music activity has been announced since then.

2) Lost Horizon, a rock outfit from Fairbanks, AK, put out one studio album (Indecision) in late 2000.
