Kommune1 has been played on NTS in shows including NTS 10 CURATED BY DOPPLEREFFEKT: QUANTUM WORMHOLE, featured first on 28 October 2012. Songs played include Mesonoxian and MOTUS.

Hailing from the gloom of the north east of England, Kommune1 is 24 year old producer/musician Daniel Martin whose musical influences revolve as-well as derive from the grooves of house music, meddled with the likes of techno and UK garage. Recently signed to Lone’s Magic Wire label, this he has been receiving praise from the likes of Blawan, Ben UFO, NT89, Pariah, Dauwd, Happa. On June 9th his new single Aelius/Mitternacht will be released via GnD Records, coinciding with the arrival of his new live show. Later this year a digital release on the seminal Berlin imprint Leisure System, home to artists such Jimmy Edgar, Machinedrum, Eprom and Barker, will mark the end of a hectic year for a promising artist.
