Bulbs has been played on NTS in shows including Don't Trip w/ Margarita, featured first on 2 June 2014. Songs played include Ladder Wing, Neat Wells and Sees.

Bulbs originated from San Francisco. Members include Jon Almaraz and William Sabiston on guitar and drums. They formed in 2005 shortly after William's departure from Axolotl and Jon's move from Bakersfield to San Fran. After two self released cassettes, in 2008 they released the "Light Ships" CD on Pete Swanson's Freedom to Spend label, and in 2009 a split LP with Mouthus on Important Records.
