The Precisions has been played on NTS shows including Shells, with If This Is Love first played on 2 November 2014.

The Precisions were established in 1959, whilst founding members Michael Morgan and Paul Merritt were attending High School together. Arthur Ashford died 6th, November 2003, and Paul Merritt died in September 2009, leaving Michael Morgan as the sole surviving original member. He now resides in California, and remains in contact with William Prince and Denis Gilmore.
