Greenwood was an alternative rock/post-hardcore band from Decatur, Illinois, United States.

The released their debut 5 song EP in June of 2007 called The End Of The Beginning, and in November of 2007, Greenwood released their first full-length album When We Become. In 2009 they did an instrumental EP called Next Level Decision Making.

Bio from their website in 2006: "Greenwood began as a concept of Adam Miller and Nick McNeely in the fall of 2003. They wanted to write songs that went against the normal mold of current song structures of that time, and thus began to do that. With Michael Miller, leading with vocals and guitars, Justin Pinta playing guitar, and Luke McNeely playing bass, Greenwood was formed as an idea. After that, Greenwood saw many lineup changes before playing even one show, Justin decided to leave the band, and Andrew Schaub filled his position. Then, Nick was offered a position as drummer for Slingshot 57, so he helped Greenwood find a new drummer. They found their new drummer in Bryan Tewell. The initial lineup was finally created, and Greenwood played their first show in mid March of 2004. Greenwood played locally throughout central Illinois, and then in early summer of 2004, Andrew was asked to leave the band due to personal conflicts and Greenwood asked Justin Pinta to return to the band. Greenwood then proceeded that summer and the following year to play around twenty shows in 3 different states including venues such as clubs, festivals, and coffee shops. Then, in mid-summer of 2005 Luke decided to leave the band due to personal problems and Greenwood brought on Chad Cuttil as their new bassist. With this lineup, Greenwood continues to write epic and emotional songs and play shows throughout the midwest."
