Semool has been played on NTS in shows including Time Is Away, featured first on 19 March 2025. Songs played include Essai 11 and Essai 2.

SEMOOL were an obscure three-piece French experimental session project schemed by Gérard TERRONÉS, the founder of a French avantgarde label Futura Records. It's said the members were Philippe MARTINEAU (guitar, percussion), Olivier CAUQUIL (guitar, piano), and Rémy Dédé DRÉANO (percussion). They released one and only album 'Essais', produced by Gérard, in 1971 via Son Records (a subsidiary of Futura Records), and disappeared all too soon. 'Essais' was re-released in 2000 via an Italian progressive rock label Mellow Records.
