Apalusa is the nom de plume of Nottingham musician Dan Layton who can also be seen playing guitar with avant-rock band Souvaris.

Essentially a one-man operation, Apalusa explores the gentler side of ambient and drone music with a sprinkling of bad mood residue thrown in for good measure.
