The Deacon is an alias of Gerald Mitchell, a Detroit based techno producer. He had two releases using this alias, Soulsaver/E.R.P - Enhanced Rhythm Perception and Attack Of The Sonic Samurai/Fuji (2006), both released by Somewhere In Detroit. He is also known as 044, D'Lareg, Gerald Mitchell, Hardlife, M5, Martian 044 and a member of Underground Resistance. Gerald is a very gifted keyboard player and at the center of the live performances of UR and Los Hermanons, together with Mike Banks, founder and leader of UR/Submerge.
