citiation from Facebook profile:

"I started my musical career at the age of nine. I learnt music from the age of five from my mother Rathna Srikantiah and later from R. R. Keshavamurthy, the legendary seven stringed violinist. I have given numerous South Indian classical (Carnatic) solo concerts, jugalbandhi concerts, jazz - fusion concerts and Contemporary Indian Music shows apart from accompanying other carnatic musicians of repute. I have been featured in all major festivals globally like WOMAD – UK , BBC Radio 3, Red Violin Festival – Wales, Cleveland Music Festival - USA, World Trade Auditorium - Singapore, East-West International Music Encounter - India, The Music Academy, Chennai, etc. I play western classical violin too. I have played violin for nearly 200 commercial Indian films under music directors like Hamsalekha & Ilayaraja. I have also composed music for teleserials, dance ballets & albums and have released many albums. I studied medicine at Bangalore Medical College and am a postgraduate in Pathology. I have been very adventurous in my career. I got bored of being a Pathologist. Then I wanted to try out computers. I was the first doctor in the world to pass Sun Certification in Java. I then worked as Healthcare IT consultant at TCS, Bangalore for 3 years. Even that bored me. I then moved to London as Srikanth was posted here. I then decided to take up music, my passion as my profession. I am now into music completely & am presently based in London. I perform extensively. My workshops on Indian/ Western violin techniques & Indian/ Western Music - comparisons have been well received. I also work as a session musician for various recordings. Recently I was conferred Fellowship in Carnatic Music from the Trinity College of Music, London. I has been training numerous students in London. I have a fusion band called 'Fusion Dreams’, which performs Contemporary Indian Music/ Indian Jazz. In my recent release called 'Fusion Dreams' I have played violin in eight different world styles. I have been now working now on an Indian Violin Concerto. I have been travelling extensively performing concerts in Europe."

citiation about "Fusion dreams":

"I am adept in playing Indian classical violin/contemporary Indian music/ fusion music. I lead a group which performs contemporary Indian music. The mystifying violin with the confluence of beats and the rapid cycles of rhythms define the effervescent contemporary flavour. I present a new cross-cultural music churned from one of the world's great ancient traditions. I am looking beyond my roots for inspiration by interacting with master musicians from other music traditions. My music is served with a blend of virtuosity and creativity culminating in a celebration of the harmony of spirit and mind. I am exploring the world of music with modern consciousness and traditional aesthetics, connecting different genres of music to Indian music. My work is a fusion of exciting contemporary violin playing and expressions from around the globe. My performances include elegant fusion of Carnatic/ Hindustani classical with Irish folk, African music and jazz /pop/blues. I am open to musical experimentation."
