Defenders of Style are a UK hiphop group comprised of four MCs, all of whom are based in Leeds, West Yorkshire. The group originated in 2001. To date members Jack Danz, Tongue Tied, Prys, Jay (L.I.P) Snow, and more recently female vocalist Chenai and DJ Knight make up the group. Defenders of Style have built up a large fanbase in northern England and - aided by numerous support slots for a variety of acts (Edo G, Foreign Beggars, The I.R.S, Jack Flash, Jehst, Jenna G, Kano, Masta Ace, Sonnyjim and Task Force to name but a few) - have started to gain critical acclaim within the UK hiphop scene.
