Basement 5 was a post-punk reggae band from London, UK founded in 1978 as "The Basements". The band's vocalist was Winston Fergus, then Don Letts and in 1979 photographer Dennis Morris. The drums were finally played by Richard Dudanski who had formerly played in The 101'ers and Public Image Ltd.
