On 18 March 2018, 4 Hero was a guest on LDLDN. 4 Hero has been played on NTS over 290 times, featured on 271 episodes and was first played on 30 September 2012.

4hero was formed by Dollis Hill (London, UK) residents, Marc Mac (aka Marc Clair) and Dego (aka Dennis McFarlane), in 1989. They all met whilst studying at college, and founded the pirate station Strong Island FM prior to forming 4 Hero & Reinforced Records. They also had experience running the sound systems Solar Zone & Midnight Lovers. Ian & Mark also played on the Girls FM pirate station.
