Alesia Cosmos is a Band from Strasbourg (France), founded in the early 80's. Members are Bruno De Chenerilles & Pascal Holtzer (Guitars, Tapes, Electronics & Voices) and Marie-Berthe Servier (Voice). The band creates hectic, and cosmic sounding electronic music typical of most electronic French artists from that time. Off time tempos and strange sounding synth accompanies all their tracks. Some tracks sound like something out of a horror movie encompassing off putting screams and moans the likes of which only weird French artists could produce. And yet again, at the same time they are terrifying and odd, they are groovy and up beat. The band's kick is that they go all directions and leave you wondering where you are and questioning whether you even like the music. All in all Alesia Cosmos is one group that is worth checking out simply because you have no idea whats in store for you.
