Bitch Magnet has been played on NTS shows including Hung, Drawn & Quartered, with Motor first played on 11 February 2016.

Bitch Magnet was a Post-Hardcore band that formed at Oberlin College in Ohio in 1986; later moving to North Carolina.

They released their first album, Umber, in 1989; a Post-Hardcore album that would later be considered one of the genre's early exemplars. In 1990, the band released their second and final album, Ben Hur, which would push the boundaries of the genre by blending it with Noise Rock.
