Derketa (also spelled Derkéta) were a death metal band from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania formed in 1988. They released a rehearsal tape in 1988, a demo in 1989 titled "The Unholy Ground" and in EP in 1991 titled "Premature Burial". They split up after recording the EP, but reformed in 1997.
