Yama Warashi hosted a guest show on 10 February 2025. Yama Warashi has been played on NTS over 10 times, featured on 15 episodes and was first played on 15 April 2016.

Yama Warashi is a musical project formed by Bristol-based Japanese artist Yoshino Shigihara with an eclectic and changing group of band members.

inspired by Japanese folk dance music, Bon Odori(盆踊り), free jazz and African music with a slice of electric psychedelia. Yoshino plays keyboard, percussions and sings songs in her mother tongue and English about mycelium, nuclear power staions and The Moon.
