As an emminent artist of the emerging french hip hop scene (Assasin, Kabal), a free-lance member of the now classic french touch movement (Source Lab I & II compilations with Air and Daft Punk), a talented producer (Lenine, Tony Allen, Screamin Jay Hawkins, Bumcello, Mike Clip Payne & Gary Mudbone Cooper from Funkadelic, James Blood Holmer) and a sought-after remixer (Neneh Cherry, Salif Keita, Gangstarr, Ice-T, David Murray & Pharoah Sanders), Doctor L also has released four albums under his own name and has numerous side projects: Psyco, Psyco on da Bus, Kactus Hunters, Rare Noods, Not your Frequency, Broken, and Da Linck .
