Kathleen Kissoon was born on March 11, 1951 in Port-of-Spain, Trinidad as Katherine Farthing. During the 1970s, she was one half of the pop duo Mac & Katie Kissoon. She also recorded a solo single, "You're the One", for Jive Records in 1983.
