Maitre Gims (born as Ghandi Djuna, Kinshasa, 6 May 1986) is rapper, composer and producer. Since 2002 he is member of the French rapcollective Sexion d'Assaut, but is also well-known as solo artist. He is the son of the Congolese singer Djanana Djuna, vocalist in the famous band Papa Wemba. So far, he has made two solo albums, "Mon coeur avait raison" (2015) and "Subliminal" (2013). His third album is planned for August 2016.
