M.E.S.H. (Duplicate)

M.E.S.H. (Duplicate) has been played on NTS in shows including Topias w/ Gabriel Meier, featured first on 11 May 2016. Songs played include Tawa M.E.S.H. Remix, Signal Ride Drum and npu.

M.E.S.H. is a moniker of American producer James Whipple, who has also released music as Ghosthunt and Denizen. He is currently based in Berlin, where he is a resident at the now infamous Janus events. After a couple of EPs on the labels Dyssembler and Black Ocean, Whipple released his M.E.S.H. debut album Piteous Gate on the PAN imprint in 2015. This was followed in 2017 by his second album Hesaitix.

In addition to his club experience, Whipple’s work is equally well contextualized by his community of peers – he is a frequent collaborator with contemporary artist Aleksandra Domanović, has exchanged remixes with Arca and Fatima Al Qadiri, and is a formative figure in an ascendant community of net aware underground club artists in Berlin including Lotic, Renaissance Man and TCF.
