Blackhouse has been played on NTS shows including You'll Soon Know w/ Tim Parker, with Chimurenga Vibration first played on 24 August 2016.

Since their first release in 1984, Blackhouse have released a wide variety of music. Formed as somewhat of a retaliatory action against the more negative aspects power electronics of the period (obviously, the name is meant to be a play on Whitehouse, and may imply a darker side to American government).
