Benin City has been played on NTS in shows including Midnight Marauders w/ Marshmello, featured first on 13 August 2013. Songs played include So You Say, Winning Streak and Final Form.

Benin City is a British band based in London named after a Nigerian state capital. The three-piece is comprised of vocalist and poet Joshua Idehen, vocalist Shanaz Dorsett with multi-instrumentalist Tom Leaper.

Idehen met Theo Buckingham at a squat party. They struck up a loud friendship and decided to make more organised noises together. They drafted in Leaper to arrange their babble into music.
