Green River has been played on NTS in shows including The Athenian Marketplace , featured first on 3 September 2016. Songs played include Rehab Doll, Hangin' Tree and Baby Takes.

Green River is an influential Seattle grunge band, named after the Green River Killer (not the CCR album, as is a common misunderstanding). They are considered one of the first grunge bands, forming in 1984 in Seattle, Washington.
