The Suffers are an American soul, funk, and R&B group from Houston, Texas. They were formed in 2011 by Adam Castaneda and Pat Kelly. The two had played together in other bands for some time before starting a reggae cover band that would grow, add various musicians and evolve in style - eventually becoming The Suffers.

Their name comes from the 1978 Jamaican film Rockers.
