The Birds were a mid-60s British R&B band that released four 45s, including the proto punk classic 'Leaving Here'. This band is an important footnote in the story of British rock, because Jeff Beck Group, Faces and The. Rolling Stones guitarist, Ronnie Wood), was in the band.

The Birds were a late 1960s Australian rock band that was loosely based on the British Birds above. The band was formed when Terry Clarke (ex-The Preachers) and a couple of (British) Birds roadies emigrated to Perth, Australia, where they put together a new incarnation of The Birds. These Aussie Birds recorded cover versions of Marvin Gaye's 'No Good Without You' and The McCoys' 'Say Those Magic Words', but also (for the latter's B-side) the mean R&B rocker, 'Dust In My Pants'.

The Birds were a 2000s Japanese/Norwegian psychedelic ambient duo featuring Cotton Casino, formerly of Acid Mothers Temple, and Per Gisle Galaen of Sloburn and Del.
