Kate Fagan is an independent roots songwriter from Sydney, Australia, currently recording and performing. Raised in Sydney in the very musical Fagan family and singing with The Fagans since her childhood, Kate has appeared on many of their albums. She released her debut solo album Diamond Wheel in 2007 and won the National Film & Sound Archive Award for Best Folk Album that year. Also a published poet with collections The Long Moment, Thought’s Kilometre and return to a new physics, Kate has a doctorate in modern poetry.
