The Swan Silvertones has been played on NTS in shows including Brain Dead Radio, featured first on 17 September 2014. Songs played include If You Believe Your God Is Dead (Try Mine), Sign Of The Judgement and Oh Mary Don't You Weep.

The Swan Silvertones were a gospel vocal group that performed in the 1940s and 1950s. Originally called the Four Harmony Kings, they were formed in 1938 by Claude Jeter, a West Virginia miner, and included Solomon Womack. They obtained their own radio show in Knoxville, TN sponsored by Swan bakeries, and changed their name to the Swan Silvertone Singers.
